Ha…..
so according to my art college,
I can’t participate in the art fair that I’ve been participating for the last two years, because the products we sell (products that have been selling well), are not considered ”quality products that represent the art college” any longer.
That means they’re not artsy enough.
Turns out the people who run the fair now want to convert it into some type of high art exposition for people with high quality tastes.
Now the problem here is not the type of people they want to approach or the type of crafts they’re looking for. The problem here is that many people were working the entire year to participate here. If the college admins would just wrote down this “jewerly and crafts prohibition” into their rules people would simply, you know, focus their skills into other projects.
So, uhm
Now my friends and I are filled with lots of crafted jewerly, hand-knitted scarves and hats, and hand-made bags.
Oh, and oficially, I’m not considered an artist.
Because according to them, I don’t have any type of artistic criteria(consider criteria to saying yes to everything these people say).
